Personal Learning Objectives

  1. Do not be afraid of technology!
Focus on embracing the challenges and unlimited potential new media has to offer. Make every effort to not be a defeatist and understand that just because someone else has done what I want to do, does not mean I should abandon an idea.
  1. Useful Application
Think about how the methods and materials taught in this course can apply to my own art practice. Stay open to the idea of moving away from traditional painting and entering a new digital medium.
  1. In The Classroom?
Constantly think about how these materials and media can be used in the classroom. Pay attention to what aspects of this course could interest students most.
